Homework is designed as practice and a key may be provided for you to check your own work. Practice writing the homework out with the notation shown in class. It is much better for your understanding of the concepts to stay on top of the homework; budget time each day to study and/or review. There will be frequent assignments on Canvas, including discussion boards.
Quizzes will be taken in class and are designed to check student's knowledge on the recent knowledge. You can expect am in class quiz about once every two weeks. Quizzes will be based on homework problems.
A total of 5 exams will be given (one of which is the final). To prepare, students should review the assigned reading, homework questions, and the lecture notes. The final exam will be cumulative.
Students seeking a grade of Incomplete must consult with me no later than the week prior to finals. A grade of Incomplete will only be considered for unforeseeable, emergency and justifiable reasons at the end of the term, and only upon agreement of conditions for completing coursework.
