All talks will take place in the North Arts lecture theatres. You must confirm your attendance and pre-load your presentation onto the lecture theatre computer prior to your session. There will be a team member available at all breaks to help you with this. We ask that you do not wait until you are about to talk to load your presentation, or run your presentation off a memory stick/USB. We also ask that in order to keep things running smoothly, you do not run your presentation off a personal computer. If you have any concerns about any of the material in your presentation being shared or used without your consent, please be reassured that all presentations will be deleted from the lecture theatre computer immediately following the session.
Presentation slots are 15 minutes long – we advise aiming for 12 minutes speaking with 3 minutes for questions. Session chairs will be keeping time, and will stop you if you exceed your allocated time.
A laser pointer/slide changer will be provided.
Poster boards will be set up inthe foyer of the North Arts lecture theatres for you to put up your posters from the beginning of the conference. Posters will be displayed throughout the conference, and can be taken down from lunchtime on Friday 20th November (if you need to leave earlier, then please feel free to remove your poster at your convenience). Thumbtacks to hang your poster will be provided for each board, and extras will be available at the registration desk. Boards will be numbered and a list will be provided allocating you to a specific number, so make sure you check your number before putting up your poster!
The poster session will be held 4:30PM-5:30PM on Thursday 19th November. You are expected to be available to answer any questions about your poster during this time.
