  • 10/17/2019: Badri gave an invited talk on our atomic scale insights into dissolution of lithium manganese oxide cathodes in lithium ion batteries at 236th Electrochemical Society Meeting in Atlanta

  • 10/15/2019: PMML receives a gift from Lam Research Inc. to perform collaborative research (with Dr. Prakash Periasamy) on computational design of materials guided by artificial intelligence through the 2020 Unlock Ideas Program. Thanks Lam Research Inc.!

  • 08/26/2019: Badri gave an invited talk at Spring Meeting of American Chemical Society in San Diego on predictive design of reactive interfaces for energy applications. He also gave a contributed talk on ligand dynamics in nanoparticle superlattices.

  • 08/18/2019: Badri served as the lead organizer for a symposium on "Artificial intelligence for materials design, synthesis, and characterization" at International Materials Research Congress at Cancun, Mexico. He also gave a talk on our recent research on developing interatomic potentials using machine learning approaches.

  • 08/16/2019: PMML is selected to lead a collaborative research program on interfacial phenomena in solid-state lithium-sulfur batteries. The program will receive funding of $1,000,000 over three years from Office of Energy, Efficiency, and Renewable Energy (Vehicle Technology Office). The project involves three other groups from University of Louisville led by Prof. Hui Wang, Prof. Gamini Sumanasekera, and Dr. Jacek Jasinski. Thanks VTO @DOE for selecting us!
