The Product

With Mentorship mobile app, students can find reliable mentors in various fields, connect with them, and enjoy easy access to mentoring seasons via the management feature which will encourage users to set up and follow upcoming meetings. Students will benefit from that app in the way that they can find a space where they will get support and guidelines for their entry into the labor market.

UX/UI designer leading the app and responsive website design from conception to delivery.

The challenge

Most grad students don't know what they would appreciate doing after university even though they finished some major. Moreover, they observe a lack of opportunity for junior-level jobs and struggle with finding some reliable sources of information related to the labor market. Even though, social media has profitably grown each academic year it's hard to discover suitable platforms where they can find mentoring for students.

Goal

Designing a mobile app that will meaningfully improve and simplify a student's journey from university to the labor market. A mobile app can provide graduate students with practical solutions for their career development and decision. They can find and connect with mentors and have consultations regarded to their career journey.

As an M.A post-grad student, I want to talk with an HR consultant, so that I can prepare myself for an interview better.

Frederico Problem statement

Frederico is a post-grad student who needs to find a mentor in the field of media production because he would like to prepare himself for a career in media production with advice from a senior media producer.

Magdalena user story

As an HR manager who manages a large team of people, I want to increase my consultation skills with students, so that I can help juniors to achieve their goals.

Problem statement

Magdalena is an HR manager in a tech company who needs to use an online platform where she can provide advice to juniors because she would like to increase her consultation skills with junior candidates and help them prepare for job hunting.
