I started MFMC with the idea of merging one of my favorite interests (matcha) with a cause that is still very prevalent and heartbreaking, human trafficking. After a personal experience observing anti-trafficking efforts in the largest red light district in the World "La Merced", I established MFMC to uplift these efforts on campus. I am very excited to see all that MFMC can offer to our UVA community through human trafficking education + fundraisers...and obviously enjoying many cups of matcha!
