Internships

Since 2015, the Master's Programme in Linguistics has opened to various forms of cooperation with regional, national and international institutions (listed below), in order to support students in the development of various skills related to our course: linguistic analysis with all its social and cultural implications (e.g. in linguistic contact arising from immigration), various forms of advising and consulting in language learning, be it for L1 or L2 speakers, and L2 teaching (e.g. language typical and atypical development, early or late bilingualism, teaching).

• Learn with mummy and Bilingue per gioco, English courses for children. Internship and collaboration for the linguistic learning of L2 (representative C. Melloni, contact person Letizia Quaranta).
• Inlingua Verona. Language school (representative C. Melloni, contact person Dr. Richard Collins).
• MB Scambi Culturali. Language school. Official office for TOEFL certification, consultation and linguistic Education (L2) in Italy and abroad, internship in glottology and teaching area (representative Dr. Maria Vender, contact person Dr. Davide Bresquar (Padova)).
• Rete Tante Tinte. Center of Intercultural Education (representative S. Dal Maso, contact person Cinzia Maggi).
• Joinki, the culture connector. Cultural exchange program (representative M. Vender).
• C.P.I.A. Centro Provinciale per l'Istruzione degli Adulti (contact person Dott. Nicoletta Morbioli (Dirigente)). Internship in teaching Italian as a L2 to non-native Italian adults (representative P. Cotticelli).
• Municipality of Verona, Department of Culture (contact person Lawyer R. Russo): possible internship in the Services Area (linguistic and cultural mediation, didattica dell’italiano L2: http://www.comune.verona.it/nqcontent.cfm?a_id=41973).
• ISU – International Students Union (contact person A. F. Maldonado de’ Gabriel): internships in linguistic and cultural mediation/support to foreign students at the university of Verona.
• University “Konstantin Philosopher” Nitra (SK), Katedra Romanistiky (contact person F. Gritti/N. Rusnakova): tradition in linguistic and literature studies (possible internship for didattica dell’italiano L2).
• Civic library of Verona (Municipality of Verona, Department of Culture; contact person Dr. A. Contò): a wide range of bibliographic material, manuscripts and ancient printed material (internship in textual studies).
• Scaligero degli Studi Danteschi Center, Verona (contact person President Teacher A. Cortese): internship in Dante studies, international Dantesque exchanges.
