GETTING STARTED
1. Open Mass and complete the short onboarding, choosing metric or imperial units.
2. On the Scan tab, allow camera access, or tap the photo-library button to pick an existing photo.
3. Tap the capture button to get your result: weight, range, confidence, and identification.
4. For best accuracy, place a coin, card, or banknote in the frame as a size reference.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How accurate is Mass?
Mass gives an AI estimate, not a certified measurement. Every result shows a range and a confidence level so you know how much to trust it. Adding a reference object improves accuracy. Do not rely on Mass for medical, legal, or commercial sale-by-weight purposes.
Why does a scan need the internet?
Each scan is analyzed by our AI service, so an active connection is required.
What is free and what is Pro?
Free includes 3 scans per day, reference calibration, history, and one AI follow-up question per day. Pro adds unlimited scans, multi-object detection, kitchen and shipping modes, batch sessions, full search, unlimited history, and CSV / PDF export.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Mass. There is no free trial; you can cancel anytime.
How do I restore a purchase?
Open Mass, go to Settings, and tap Restore Purchases.
How do I switch units?
Open Settings in the app and choose metric or imperial.
Is my data private?
Yes. Mass requires no account and stores your data on your device. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I delete my data?
Use Reset in the app's Settings, or delete the app from your device.
