I am interested in operations, project management, business development, organizational improvement, and financial advising, where I can apply the problem-solving and relationship-building skills I developed in government to a business environment.
I am drawn to work that brings structure to complexity, improves how organizations operate, builds strong relationships, and helps people make better use of their resources. Across each of these areas, I am looking to be a trusted steward of something important and find practical ways to make it better.
I enjoy taking information that is difficult to organize and finding a better way to make it useful. Whether I’m starting with a collection of raw data or building a system from the ground up, I look for ways to organize information, uncover patterns, track activity, and make it easier to understand and use. ARGUS is an example of a database system I developed to track and visualize investments within a district while creating a more efficient way to manage and access information.
Whether I’m working across different offices, organizations, or teams, I focus on keeping people connected and making sure everyone has the information they need to move a project forward. I’m comfortable managing different priorities, coordinating communication, and making sure individual pieces come together into one cohesive final product. Multi-office coordination is an example of my ability to work across teams, manage competing needs, and keep projects organized from start to finish.
I enjoy taking projects with a lot of moving pieces and figuring out how to keep everything moving in the right direction. Whether it involves coordinating people, managing deadlines, preparing materials, or working through unexpected changes, I focus on keeping everyone informed and making sure the final product comes together smoothly. The Joint CHIPS Funding Press Confrence demonstrates my experience coordinating stakeholders and managing the details behind a successful public event.
Whether I’m communicating with the public, preparing materials for a decision-maker, or helping an organization explain a complicated issue, I focus on making information clear, purposeful, and easy to understand. I’ve developed speeches, talking points, press releases, presentations, and other communications tailored to different audiences and goals. Speech and talking point development is one example of how I turn research and complex ideas into clear messages that help people understand an issue and know what comes next.
Good research starts with knowing what questions to ask and knowing how to find the information needed to answer them. I enjoy taking complicated subjects, digging into the details, and figuring out what actually matters. From legislative research to briefing materials, I’ve developed an ability to turn large amounts of information into clear, useful takeaways that help people understand an issue and make better decisions. Legislative briefings are one example of that process in practice.
Good communication is not always about having the right words. I also enjoy finding ways to make information more engaging and easier to understand visually. I’ve created graphics, presentations, social media materials, and other visual content designed to communicate a message clearly while still catching people’s attention. Graphic design and digital communications are examples of how I use visual storytelling to turn information and ideas into something an audience can quickly understand.
