About the Communications Center
The 911 Communications Center operates under the Mason County Office of Emergency Services (OES), working alongside Mason County EMS and the Division of Homeland Security & Emergency Management to provide a coordinated public safety network.
Emergency Call-Taking: Receive and process 911 calls for police, fire, and medical emergencies.
Dispatch Services: Coordinate the rapid response of law enforcement, fire departments, and EMS units.
Non-Emergency Support: Handle non-emergency calls, resource requests, and information sharing.
Coordination During Disasters: Serve as a vital communication hub during severe weather, major incidents, and disasters.
Our communications specialists are trained to handle high-stress situations, provide pre-arrival instructions, and utilize state-of-the-art Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) and radio systems to ensure quick and efficient response.
