She was born in 1989 in Moscow.In her work, she explores childhood, family relationships, vulnerability, imagination, and inner transformatio combining hand-drawn graphics with digital animation.Before turning to animation, Masha worked in icon painting, book illustration, comics, and tattoo art — practices that shaped her visual style: minimal forms, expressivenes, combines clarity and symbolism. With every film, she reinvents her visual style, seeking the most honest and expressive form to reveal the story’s inner emotion.Her visual language is characterized by a blend of handmade textures and digital techniques, a restrained color palette, and a tactile quality reminiscent of paper and watercolor.Masha’s films have been selected for international festivals including AnimEST, Oberhausen, Monstra, Giffoni, Dresden, and Vienna Shorts.
