Pilot Program

Overview

If you're interested in partisipating in our Pilot Program, please consider the following:

• Currently, we're focusing on gardens that meet the following criteria:

  • *NEW* Any number of different kinds of plants

  • Mostly Maryland Native plants - we will add Nativars, Cultivars and Non-Natives to address your garden.

• If you send the following:

  • (a) list of your plants (preferably including scientific (Latin) names),

  • (b) a sketch of your garden layout,

  • (c) a brief writeup about your garden and (d) <optional> picture(s) of your garden with completed University of Maryland Photo Release Form

  • (d) light conditions (Sun, Partial Sun or Shade)

  • (e) water conditions (Wet, Moderate, Dry)

• We'll work with you to do the following:

  • (a) generate a garden template and 

  • (b) feature webpage (without personal info)

• We'll give you the following:

  • (a) a pdf garden template with full hyperlinks to referance and resources,

  • (b) a pdf garden template sign with QR code,

  • (c) pdf plant garden signs with QR codes and (d) pdf inspiration signs with QR codes, and

  • (d) a link to your garden featured on our website
