Sekolah Quantum Inti Indonesia, also known as SQII, is an institution that was founded by Dra. Evianty Iswan, M. Pd. It is a private school located in Bekasi, West Java, and started as a very small school in 2007. As time went by, through the hard work and dedication of Dra. Iswan and the SQII’s teachers, the school became a great beacon of Indonesian leaders. Eventually, it became an institution that hones students from Kindergarten, Elementary, Junior High School (Grades 7-9), and Senior High School (10-12) to be empowered with positive characters of highly intellectual Indonesian leaders’ generation who are globally successful and equipped with strong spiritual, emotional, and adversity quotients.
SQII seeks to produce students with enhanced knowledge, talents, soft skills, life skills, and religious ways of thinking through the implementation of innovative and sustained programs and activities that embrace Pancasila - the five principles of the Indonesian republic known as God the Sole, nationalism, humanitarianism, democracy, and social justice. To do this, the school organizes a variety of extracurricular activities, including but not limited to fun camps, fun walks and charity, and self-concept and self-development programs that allow students to find and explore their own growth and potential.
The unique feature of this school is that each building has an area outside the classroom where students can read and learn on their own or with friends. Some classrooms and other facilities also have an area where students are allowed to sleep if they want to because they believe that every action of the students is part of their learning experience. They also embrace multiple intelligences of learners which is why there are specific rooms or areas for sports, music, computers, laboratories, and libraries. Also, despite the fact that the school is composed of almost entirely Muslim students and teachers, it is a great thing that they respect Christianity because there is also a prayer room and office for Christians.

Furthermore, the SQII also aims for academic excellence by means of providing quality education for all types of learners. Among the flagship programs that help address the student's educational needs is the application of the mind map and Spalding method to foster inclusive education for different types of learners. In Junior High School, students have fiction book writing, domestic learning adventures, fun walks and charity, and others. There are also activities that are anchored to university exploration, university preparation, school podcasts, academic writing, and overseas learning adventures offered for the Senior High School.
In addition, the Kurikulum Merdeka and a Special Curriculum were adopted in the educational system of Sekolah Quantum Inti Indonesia. Kurikulum Merdeka, the National Curriculum, was launched by the Ministry of Education and Culture as part of the Merdeka Belajar policy which was established in December 2019. Kurikulum Merdeka (Independent Curriculum) is a development of Kurikulum Darurat (Emergency Curriculum) implemented to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. Kurikulum Merdeka is predicted to be more excellent because it focuses on essential materials and gives independence to students, principals, and teachers in choosing appropriate learning. (UNPAS, 2022)
Meanwhile, the SQII’s Special Curriculum focuses on the four main aspects – character building and living values, leadership and entrepreneurship, literacy, and arts, sport, and physical development. All of these are essential for students to acquire because these can provide students with life-long learnings that can help them live successful and worthy lives as well as become the best versions of their selves.
Quantum Teaching and Learning is one of the best educational methods that is being embodied by the school. Generally, this method speaks about the effective learning results for students when they experience learning in a positive environment and view the process as something that gives them fun. This means that the student’s knowledge and learnings are more likely to stay and be applied if their experiences in learning focus meet their learning pace and styles. Quantum Teaching and Learning considers the three integral aspects of the learning process – the mind, body, and emotion – that is the reason why it emphasizes that the good feelings that students can gain from learning activities help retain the learning they get from it.
