Welcome to my Online Course Design Portfolio. I began this site while completing my @ONE Certificate in Online Teaching Principles, which is aligned with the five @ONE Quality Principles in Online Teaching:

1. Effective online teachers are present within their course.
2. Effective online teachers apply equitable methods to promote student access and success while acknowledging institutional obstacles.
3. Effective online teachers respond to student needs and use data for continuous course improvement.
4. Effective online teachers teach and model ethical online interaction, while helping students develop digital literacy that will poise them for success.

Since I had previously earned @ONE's Certificate in Online Teaching and Design, I have become one of the earliest persons in California to have earned both. Working for these certificates was a challenging metacognitive journey--through which I learned basic and advanced techniques for online course design. Along the way, I have developed keen interest and a considerable skill set in instructional design. As my journey continues, I remain committed to lifelong learning and continual professional development.
