Development of a Robot Nurse

Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, the idea of a remote nurse emerged as an innovative solution to address the challenges of providing in-person treatment. Controlled remotely by doctors through a cloud gateway, the robot stores patient data in the cloud database and performs autonomous routine operations. It administers medication, and fluids, and conducts health state tests like oxygen saturation, temperature, and pulse rate assessments, enabling safe and efficient healthcare delivery from a distance. The remote nurse's implementation showcases its potential for transforming healthcare and presents a promising avenue for telemedicine beyond the pandemic. Figure 2 shows some of the connections that are made for the overall system circuitry. Figure 3 shows the sensors connected to the ESP8266 WiFi gateway.

Line Follower Mechanism

The Line Follower Robot is a sophisticated autonomous robot equipped with two DC motors and an L298N motor driver, enabling precise control and maneuverability. The robot utilizes an IR array sensor to detect and follow lines or tracks on the ground. By processing the data from the IR sensors, the robot can make real-time decisions to navigate along the designated path, making it ideal for tasks that require accurate line following, such as in industrial automation or educational robotics projects.

Design and PWM control of a DC motor from scratch

In this project, I successfully designed a small DC motor from the ground up, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. Additionally, I developed an encoder using an IR sensor to accurately sense the motor's speed. By integrating a motor driver, I established a PID controller that regulates the motor's speed through precise control of PWM signals. This comprehensive setup allows for fine-tuned and reliable control of the DC motor.

Automated Occupancy Monitoring System

The Automated Classroom Occupancy Monitoring System is a project that utilizes laser and LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) technology to detect and track the entry and exit of individuals in a classroom. The laser-based sensor detects interruptions caused by people passing through the doorway, while the LDR measures changes in light intensity, indicating the presence or absence of individuals. By combining these sensors, the system achieves accurate and reliable occupancy monitoring, providing real-time information on the number of people inside the classroom and facilitating efficient space management.

Team Ogrodoot: Rover Design [Team Project]

This was our submission for International Rover Design Challenge 2023 where we reached the finals and attained 11th Global Position and 2nd Lead Position among the teams from Bangladesh. The main rover bot was mostly designed by me along with some major design consideration to the mother rover.

3-DOF Robotic Arm

This is an automated sorting robot that is equipped with three degrees of freedom and serves as a prototype for industrial robotic arms. The robot utilizes a color sensor to detect various colors, and the servo sequence allows the robot to transport a particular box to its designated destination with forward kinematics.
