About Me

Greetings!!! I am Md. Maruf, a recent graduate in mechatronics engineering from Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology, RUET. I am currently working as a Mechanical Design Engineer at BJIT Limited (Bangladesh Japan Information Technology Limited), a leading IT company in Bangladesh. In my current role, I have been involved in projects with Metso, Etteplan, and the design of a robot camera mount for Boston Dynamics. During my undergraduate studies, I developed a Humanoid robot nurse during the COVID-19 pandemic. I was responsible for designing the robot parts in NX, creating a custom deep learning architecture, and performing mathematical calculations for the arm's movement. My undergraduate thesis was "Deep Learning Based Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Detection from Peripheral Blood Smear". Here, I explored different deep learning models and created a custom architecture for accurate leukemia detection. Besides that, I've been involved in several robotics projects here, gained hands-on experience in project development, electronics, programming, and modeling. I am passionate about research in the fields of robotics, machine vision, machine learning, deep learning, human-robot interaction, and robot design.
