I am an applied economist interested in Technology, Labor, and Firms Dynamics. I am an Economist (ETC) at the World Bank Group.

My research focuses mainly on the drivers and obstacles to technology adoption and their effects on the labor market and firms' organizational structure. My recent work on the drivers of technology concentrates on studying the effects of exporting on the adoption of advanced technologies. On the effects of technology, I examine the impacts of declining demand for routine occupations on workers' outcomes and the effects of technology adoption on firms' span of control and the number of knowledge hierarchies. 

I hold a Ph.D. from Maastricht University and UNU-MERIT and a master's degree from the University of São Paulo.
