Professional Experience:


Supported the implementation of the “Firm-Adoption of Technology” survey and contributed to the flagship "Bridging the Technological Divide". Supported the team in implementing an impact evaluation of local content requirement policies in Brazil. Drafted reports on the COVID-19 pandemic and supported Amazon development strategies in Brazil. Co-authored country notes and papers on several topics, including technology adoption, innovative firms' wage premium, privatization's effects on workers' wages and employment, and the effects of entering exporting markets on the adoption of advanced technologies.


Advised the top management and local industries and produced and presented strategic reports. Supervised a group of 15 economists and statisticians in developing the Industry's Observatory of Ceará using business intelligence, data analysis, and primary research. Supervised fieldwork of the “Firm-Adoption of Technology” survey, supervised monthly surveys with local firms and supervised a survey on firms' innovative activities. Co-authored reports on innovation activities in the state, and emerging trends in workers' skills demand and led the development of the FIEC's State Innovation Index;

Advised the Group of 77 and China, providing economic and statistical expertise and collaborated in the writing of speeches, concept notes, and resolutions on topics such as poverty, immigration, South-South cooperation, infrastructure, innovation, illicit financial flows, and trade. Collaborated in the organization of side events and workshops on International Taxation and reviewed the process of the United Nations Development Reform, helping to build the Group’s position;

Collected and analyzed statistics and qualitative socio-economic information and prepared presentations and drafted the corresponding talking points requested by the Office of the Executive Secretary. Prepared literature review and participated in academic discussions on research findings. Organized two editions of the ECLAC Summer School.
