I Will Prioritize Support For Our MRH Teachers!

As an educator myself, I understand the importance of a strong teacher in improving student outcomes.  We must make retaining our teachers and staff a priority at MRH.  If elected, one of my goals will be to ensure that our educators are valued, respected and given autonomy within the classroom.  I was recently honored to be endorsed by the MRHNEA as an MRH school board candidate. This underscores my unwavering support of our incredible MRH teachers!

I Will Prioritize Student Well-Being and Success!

As a school board member, I will work to ensure that our children are always put first! I will strive to create a climate of positivity and security, place a focus on student-centered decision making, prioritize equity and inclusion, and set data-driven goals. We need to prioritize the holistic development of our students through innovative programs that encourage vital skills and qualities like curiosity, teamwork, resilience and leadership.

I Will Prioritize Responsible Stewardship and Fiscal Responsibility!

Fiscal responsibility is one of the most important roles a school board member has. My goal will be to align budgetary decisions with the district’s educational goals which should be informed by all stakeholders. I want to foster a culture of integrity and ethical financial stewardship with transparency at all levels. I also want to project ahead by planning for potential challenges so that the district is never in financial straits.

I Will Prioritize Bringing Our School and Community Together!

One of MRH’s strengths is its size! I come from a small town and one of the many benefits is that small communities know each other well and can come together more easily for the greater good. We need to end the divisiveness within our community and come together as one to make MRH the best district it can be!
