Here is a little more information about me:
I was born and raised in Farmington, a small town in southeastern Missouri. I moved to Richmond Heights about 10 years ago.
I have two sons who graduated from MRH in 2021 and in 2024.
I served four years of active duty in the U.S. Air Force (stationed at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City). I also served two years in the Missouri Air National Guard.
I have lived and worked in a variety of communities with different types of needs and challenges. This includes working as an educator in remote Alaska and also on Native American reservations in North Dakota.
I am currently a licensed school psychologist for the Hazelwood School District.
My life experiences have taught me so much about the importance of public education and have instilled in me a deep commitment toward creating an environment in which all children can reach their full potential.
