There are the customary sentiments on greeting cards, yet there is nothing typical about a collection of timecards©. Greetings address both normal topics and issues not regularly the subject of cards.

Each card is a unique mixed media collage on an actual folded time card measuring 4 X 41/2 inches using pH balanced glue and bookbinders linen thread on ‘fine’ and not so ‘fine’ materials. Cards have text, image and objects in an ironic, curious or tongue-in-cheek way to suggest my point of view on everyday occasions, special events, environmental topics and issues of social justice; from happy birthday to LGBTQ Passover Greetings. Card Art is a new art genre, as far as I can tell, I am the sole practitioner. It is both utilitarian, though somewhat irregularly shaped for the USPS, and an object of fine art. It straddles and finds origins in detritus, fragments, Anne Ryan, Kurt Scwhitters, Walter Benjamin, Visionary Art, mail art, collage, ready-mades, Fluxus, Dada, Hallmark and Pop Shop.
