Remember, GSUSA requires that girls wear their uniform when officially representing Girl Scouts. Girls at events for MAGS or in the community with their troops should be wearing their vests or sashes!! People should recognize the organization without having to ask.
Exception: any event where you need to be in costume, and snow tubing.

LEADER MEETINGS
Leader Meetings are held EVERY 3rd Tuesday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church--502 W McMillian St (next to YMCA). Meetings start 6:30pm. These meetings are essential for leaders to attend, information from council and MAGS are presented and discussed, your input is important. January Meeting is MANTATORY for leaders/Cookie Managers to attend.

**COOKIE TRAINING**
Troops MUST have a representative attend the training on January 8, 2019. Cookie training is MANDATORY. Your troop will NOT be allowed to participate in sales if you do not attend the training.

School flyers - if you choose to send home flyers for Girl Scouts through the school, you MUST abide by your school district's rules and procedures. For the Marshfield School District, flyers are sent home the 1st and 3rd Fridays. Flyers must go through the District Office, and must contain the following disclaimer:
"These activities are not sponsored nor endorsed by the Marshfield School District or any of its schools. The district assumes no responsibility for the conduct during or safety of the activities. Marshfield School District shall be held harmless from any cause of action, claim, or petition filed in any court of administrative tribunal arising our of the distribution of these materials including attorney's fees and judgments or awards."
Need items from the Council Store? The Schofield office can help! You will need to prepay for your order, and you can pick it up at the next leader meeting or have it shipped to your home. Contact the shop-sc@gsnwgl.org.
PATCH INFORMATION Marshfield Area will order patches from Snappy Logos four times a year to save money. The more we order, the cheaper the patches. If your troop needs patches, they can be included in our order. Just click on the link on the right, choose your patches, and email Heather Sommers the patch# and how many you need. The amount you owe will be based on the discount we receive.
Custom patch available for anyone who helped distribute flags for Hiller's. $1.60 each.
The MAGS patch is available for purchase! The cost is $1.75 per patch.
Marshfield Area Girl Scouts have decided to leave our mark on Main Street! We used area money to sponsor a planter to help beautify downtown. It is located on the NW corner of 2nd and Central (in front of Victory Apparel).
