Glad you are here, because meeting with a group is a great choice for a healthy marriage! The truth is that we all need friends to maintain a marriage that is pleasing to God. Too many couples try to tackle the issues of marriage alone and isolation can lead to serious problems. The good news is that it is never too late to surround your marriage with trusted friends who also believe and receive Jesus as Lord and Savior and use the Bible as the ultimate guide for navigating their behavior and relationships.
To request participation in a small group study or a couple-to-couple study, send a message to MarriedLifeNH@gmail.com and we will get back to you soon with dates and times. Groups will be hosted in-person at a residence or at the church. Online meetings may be incorporated as needed.
The Marriage You Want - Sheila and Keith Gregoire
Required Reading for Married Life Mentors
We all want a marriage that feels like home. We long for a partner who is there for us through all of life's challenges and griefs, who is in on all our inside jokes, who looks with hope toward the future with a shared faith and an arm firmly around our shoulder. But what actually works to get us there? Based on data from an all-new study of married couples, researchers uncover the keys to the marriage you long for. Rather than relying on gender stereotypes, they look at what actually creates intimacy, emotional health, and connection, asking deeper questions that lead to real healing and growth in your relationship with your spouse. With the evidence-based, Scripture-honoring advice in this book, the marriage you want may be closer than you imagine.

You and Me Forever - Francis and Lisa Chan
Francis and Lisa Chan dive deep into the message they've had on their hearts regarding marriage.
"While we cannot allow lesser things to destroy our marriages, we also cannot allow marriage to distract us from greater things. A jealous God asks us to pursue Him first and most. Then life makes sense, and everything falls into its proper place."
The Meaning of Marriage - Tim and Kathy Keller
This book provides an incredibly accurate picture of today's popular views of marriage. On the one hand, people despair and think it is impossible to commit and stay married for life and on the other hand, people glorify marriage unrealistically, seeing it as a passion-fest, for the purpose of personal gratification and achievement of goals. Keller meets both of these extremes with a biblical view of marriage that upholds its divine purpose without glorifying it as the ultimate happiness. An excellent read for singles, dating, and married individuals.
