Maros is proud and delighted to have been selected to host the 45th annual Western Canadian Hungarian Folk Festival (WCHFF) in Saskatoon on October 6th to 9th, 2023. Saskatoon will experience a Thanksgiving weekend like no other, filled with the colours and sounds of Hungary presented by over 300 dancers and musicians in a gala performance at the Broadway Theatre. This Festival features a Piac (marketplace) and a variety of workshops in dance, singing, crafts, and music, led by experts from Hungary. The evenings are celebrated with Tancház (Dance House) which highlights Hungarian Folk Dancing and singing to live music. Everyone from beginner to the most experienced dancer can learn and kick up their heels in this energetic atmosphere till the early hours of the morning. The public is welcome to attend any or all of these events which will be held at the Delta Hotels Saskatoon Downtown.
