Built a successful used car dealership from the ground up. The operation was sales process and customer service focused, generating high volume unit sales with low overhead over a 10+ year period.
Developed and implemented lead handling and sales processes for a dealer network with over 20 locations I travelled from location to location, coaching sales people and managers on proven best practices.
Hired and led a team of remote, in market sales people for an automotive finance company. Communicated strategy and measured growth, productivity and customer satisfaction across a nationwide team of more than 60 professionals.
Created a lead handling call center for the network of dealerships. Designed phone scripts and processes to convert interested customers into appointments for the stores. Lead conversion rates improved significantly.

Transformed multiple departments from small teams with manual processes to large, well measured, technology driven groups. Each organization required significant hiring and training efforts and grew successfully subsequent to the implementations.
Helped lead the retooling of an underperforming network of dealerships. Replaced the entire general manager team and established a closely measured sales process. Developed training materials and a site visit audit program to assist with the turnaround.
Hired and trained long-tenured teams. Of the 100+ people I hired during my tenure at the finance company, over 30 remain at the company 25 years later. The team of 7 people who worked at my dealership were all with the organization for 9 or more of the 12 years we operated.

Developed underwriting scorecards for a finance company based on historical loan performance. The scorecard allowed the organization to move from manual to online credit approvals, reducing costs, improving collection results and the capacity for growth.
