Coaching Philosophy:
At its heart, my coaching is built on creating a safe, encouraging environment where mistakes are welcomed as valuable feedback rather than setbacks. By building confidence and independence, I help paddlers develop the resilience needed for long term growth and success on the water.
In practice, I structure sessions so that learning happens naturally. Instead of overloading you with instructions or constant feedback, I use clear, practical cues that let your body adapt and find its own balance. As your confidence grows, I gradually pass the decision making over to you, while always keeping a careful eye on safety when conditions get challenging.
Every paddler is unique. When technical habits hold you back, we refine your movement through targeted, real world practice. If physical factors or past injuries come into play, we adjust the technique, task, or equipment to suit your body. The goal is never a textbook stroke, it is helping you build adaptable, dependable skills so you can paddle with total confidence in dynamic sea conditions.
