💼 Quick Workflow Guide

• Registering a Shop / Customer: Tap the Customers tab and click + New Customer. Enter the shop name, owner name, phone number, and market area. Tap "Capture Current GPS Location" to automatically pin the shop's physical coordinates for future sales visits.

• Managing Products & Catalog: Under the Products tab, manage your stock items, wholesale unit pricing, SKU codes, and packaging units (Carton, Box, Tin, Pack, etc.).

• Creating an Order in Seconds: Tap New Order (+), select your retail customer, and choose items from your catalog. Quantities, discounts, and totals are computed instantly in real time.

• Recording Payments & Balances: When an order is delivered or payment is received, record partial or full settlements (Cash, Bank Transfer, Cheque). Outstanding debit/credit balances update automatically on the customer's ledger.

• Sharing Order Receipts: Open any order detail screen and tap View & Share Receipt to send an itemized bill directly to the shopkeeper via WhatsApp, Messages, or AirDrop.

• Multi-Account Switching: In Settings, you can configure multiple company profiles or sales routes and switch between them seamlessly.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Does MarketLedger require an internet connection?
A: No. MarketLedger is engineered 100% offline-first. You do not need Wi-Fi or cellular data to create orders, view customer ledgers, or manage products out in the field.

Q: Do I need to register or create an online account?
A: No account, login, or password is required. You can start booking orders immediately upon downloading the app.

Q: Where is my business data stored?
A: All your customer databases, product catalogs, order histories, and ledger payments are stored safely and locally in an on-device database on your iPhone or iPad.

Q: Why does the app request Location permission?
A: Location permission is only used when you explicitly tap "Capture Current GPS Location" while registering a shop. This saves the store's GPS coordinates locally so sales reps can locate stores on delivery routes. Location is never tracked in the background.

Q: Can I share or print order receipts?
A: Yes. You can share clean, itemized order summaries and payment receipts directly through the native iOS share sheet (WhatsApp, Email, SMS, AirPrint).

Q: Where can I read your Privacy Policy?
A: MarketLedger collects zero personal or business data. We do not operate remote servers, tracking tools, or advertising networks. You can view our full Privacy Policy on our official privacy page.
