Walk and Wheel Gathering- Summer 2022

Markbrook Residents Group was a successful recipient of the Sparking Change Grant funded by Park People. Group was successful in bringing the community together to focus on staying active in the outdoors and to connect with each other despite of their nationality, language and age differences etc. Special thanks to the emerging MRG youth leaders (high school Ss) in managing and making the event a success.

Markbrook Residents Group took advantage of the Community Resilient Program funded by Park People and support from the Rexdale Cluster Group in bringing the community together to celebrate the festive season of Halloween and Diwali with each other despite of their nationality, language and age differences etc. Special thanks to the emerging MRG youth leaders (high school Ss) in managing and making the event a success.
Digital Submission- Signs of Spring challenge- Spring 2021
Markbrook Residents Group found a creative way to collaborate digitally and engage in social conversation about the arrival of spring in the North Humber Park during the crucial times of stay at home order.
Prayer Group Meet up- Summer 2020
Markbrook Residents Group found a creative way to utilize the newly built shade shelter. Senior's prayer group surely dealt with lockdown related stress by collective chanting of mantra.
