Teaching

 This Ph.D. level course introduces students to modern environmental and climate economics. It covers the theory of environmental externalities and regulation, the empirical estimation of climate damages, adaptation and spatial responses to climate risk, energy markets and the low-carbon transition, and the social cost of carbon. The course combines canonical contributions with recent frontier research and emphasizes the role of economic theory, causal inference, and quantitative models in informing climate policy.
