The eight new tracks of the final wave of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass DLC feature the likes of DK Mountain from Mario Kart: Double Dash, Piranha Plant Cove from Mario Kart Tour and Rainbow Road from Mario Kart Wii.

I noticed that they like to go out for about 4 months and 3 days between two waves. Except for 2 exceptions, the one between wave 1 and 2, I think it's because Nintendo released wave 1 rather than planned, maybe marketing plan, the month of March is maybe a month that they like at Nintendo and where they make more figures, I didn't delve into the subject, which surely also explains the fact that wave 1 had really less beautiful graphics and that Coconut Mall was not even finished with the cars that remain on place. And between wave 3 and 4 but here we are talking about a new calendar year so it's like a reboot, which explains that there was only 3 months of waiting. Nintendo are really very clear and I think that November 15 will be the official release of Wave 6, it will be approximately 4 months and 3 days like the other waves.

Its a bit much to predict wave 7-12 complete, so i thought, let's start with the two first waves, 4 cups. When you think a slot will be used by an (unknown) city Tour track, use ''Tour TBA''. When you think it will be used for an unknown Nitro, use 'Nitro TBA''To make it easier for your:

Squeaky Clean Sprint: ( S Tier ) One track this wave must share the S worthy title and lucky for the new track its you! love how everyone was trashing the bathroom track since it was first revealed and I knew from Day 1 it gonna be great. None surprise it is. The theme of the track is very intense and strong, the music is lovely for a bathroom song lol. The layout is simple but enough to keep you engaged. I like the track a lot and it has a underwater section that actually good and not ignoring or feel too slow and floaty. Overall it a solid S Tier for me. It has everything a Mario theme track should have.

Tour Vancouver Velocity: ( A Tier ) I wanted to put at least 1 city track worthy of a A Tier this wave, and this track is worthy of that title. It's probably the most beautiful city track we gotten along side Tour Singapore Speedway, which is also gorgeous and vibrant with colors as well. The music is a 10/10. I don't even think we need to go into details about the music, but goddamn it good. The layout is long and far more engaging than most city tracks besides the third lap, which is very weak but only because of that one straightaway into the tunnel and it very short. Otherwise it a challenge course, and it actually use anti gravity which surprise me tbh. It a track I be happy with playing online and love how grand this tracks feels, and it got lots of turns too! It is a Solid A Tier for me.

Since March 2022, Nintendo has been releasing extra courses to the game as paid DLC (or part of the premium tier Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription). Now the sixth and final wave will be available from 9th November.

Courses from wave 1 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe \u2013 Booster Course Pass can be played from March 18th locally or online in Friends and Rivals races, even if only one player owns the Booster Course Pass or has access to it as part of a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership. From March 22nd, courses from wave 1 will also appear in the Random selection when playing Global or Regional races with anyone online.

@SteelRain is that confirmed? The article here suggests it's a one off cost and you'll have access to every wave. I.E. you won't have to pay for a 2nd years subscription to get the waves coming out next year. Not sure where NL got that from or if that's correct. It would be nice to get clarification from an official source.

I've seen many videos and reddit post praising the new dlc wave because "Nintendo just keep on delivering better & better each wave" yet I really feel like wave 5 is a step down compare to the other ones we got.

Daisy Cruiser is a nice addition from someone who's childhood was mostly on Double Dash but it's a pretty simple track and we had Waluigi Stadium the wave before, I would've much prefer for difficult tracks for this wave like Wario Colosseum.

This final wave of Booster Course Pass content for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe launches on November 9 for everyone who either has a paid membership to the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pass or has purchased the Booster Course Pass DLC separately. In addition to adding four new racers to the roster, it also includes 16 Mii Racing Suits and a bonus Daisy Racing Suit when a Daisy Amiibo is scanned. The eight tracks in Wave 6 will form two new Cups: the Acorn Cup and the Spiny Cup, and are comprised of redesigned tracks from other Mario Kart games.

Nintendo has revealed that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's Booster Course Pass Wave 6, the final wave of DLC for the uber-popular kart racer, goes live next week on November 9. It includes eight new courses, including fan favorites like Mario Kart Wii's Rainbow Road, four new racers, a new music player feature, and more. With it being the final wave of DLC for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, it brings the game's course count up to 96, which is double the 48 available in the base game.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's Booster Course Pass Wave 6 is the final wave of DLC for the game. It goes live on November 9. The entire Booster Course Pass can be purchased for $24.99, or by becoming a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscriber.

The Booster Course Pass can be purchased on its own, but it is also included in a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription,[3] as well as in the digital-only Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Bundle (Game + Booster Course Pass).[4] In Hong Kong, activation codes for the Booster Course Pass are additionally distributed in physical Nintendo Switch game cases, though buyers must own a copy of the base game to be able to use a code.[5] If the player has purchased the Booster Course Pass or currently has a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription, a small icon of a Super Star can be seen next to the version number on the game's title screen. The first wave of the DLC was made available to pre-load on March 15, 2022, and was released in most regions on March 18, 2022, while the final wave was released on November 9, 2023.

The courses shown in the key artwork use official screenshots and in-game course icons from Mario Kart Tour. Some screenshots of the courses show Paris Promenade and Paris Promenade 3 with barrier fences from that game, as well as an official screenshot of the ninja Shy Guys in Ninja Hideaway, which originated from the 2021 Ninja Tour's in-game preview. Prior to Wave 1's release, the infographic showing all of the known courses across all six waves also used Mario Kart Tour screenshots. However, in the launch trailer for Wave 1 posted following its release, the infographic was updated to use in-game screenshots from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for all courses, which the release trailers for future waves, as well as the version of the infographic added to the game's menu in version 2.3.0 (upon the release of Wave 4), would follow as well.

Each of the six waves features two cups, each with four courses, for eight courses per wave.[3] In total, there are two courses each from Super Mario Kart and Mario Kart 64, three courses from Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, four courses each from Mario Kart DS and Mario Kart 7, five courses from Mario Kart: Super Circuit, eight courses from Mario Kart Wii, seventeen courses from Mario Kart Tour, and three new courses. Excluding the Mario Kart Tour courses, DS Shroom Ridge and GBA Snow Land are the only courses to make their first classic course appearances in the Booster Course Pass.

In the game's internal data in version 2.0.0, many upcoming course slots were each designated a prefix. Across waves 2-6, "SNES" (denoting a Super Mario Kart course) was allocated to two courses, "N64" (Mario Kart 64) to one course, "GBA" (Mario Kart: Super Circuit) to four courses, "GCN" (Mario Kart: Double Dash!!) to four, "DS" (Mario Kart DS) to three, "Wii" (Mario Kart Wii) to five, "3DS" (Mario Kart 7) to two, and "Tour" (Mario Kart Tour's city courses) to twelve, in addition to seven courses without a prefix (which either denote new courses or Mario Kart Tour's non-city courses).[29] The prefixes, which matched the courses in Wave 2, were removed in version 2.1.0 with that wave's release; however, the lineups of later were slightly different, with several prefixes changing positions within the respective waves, Wii Maple Treeway appearing in place of GCN Waluigi Stadium in Wave 3, and Wii Moonview Highway appearing in place of SNES Bowser Castle 3 in Wave 5. Additionally, while the third slot of the Acorn Cup did not have a prefix in the data, Wii Moonview Highway's codename (Cnsw_63) assigns it to that placement, indicating that this slot may have been intended for either Piranha Plant Pipeline, which was the only Tour course to not be added as part of the Booster Course Pass, or a non-city Tour course that was never finished (as its own internal data indicates two non-city courses were in development, but later scrapped). Wave 6 also originally featured a second blank course slot and a fourth GCN slot; however, the final wave instead included Wii Daisy Circuit and 3DS Rosalina's Ice World, neither of which would have been possible inclusions with the original prefix leak (as Wii Rainbow Road's spot lines up with the exact spot from said datamine and matches Wave 3 ending with 3DS Rainbow Road). ff782bc1db
