Below freezing temperatures for six days brought heavy snow, gale force winds, 8 hours without power (or heat or internet service!), frozen water lines/waste tanks, and roads too slick to drive without studs/chains. Good thing I remembered to pack a -30 degree bag and some snow shoes! Made it into town on foot just fine. Market and most businesses were open with people who did have studs/chains offering to drive me back to my trailer to pick up my propane tanks, back into town to get them filled, and back to the campground again. Campground itself is beautiful. Super quiet (except for the trains, of course) and I pretty much have the place to myself. Maintenance crews have come by every day to make sure I'm okay with promises to help dig me out/get me on the road again once I feel it's safe enough to get where I'm going.  Definitely not the camping experience I was planning, but I'm loving it anyway.
