The Columbia Gorge Sternwheeler is offering a scenic and historic 5 to 6-hour cruise along the Columbia River, from Vancouver, Washington, to Cascade Locks, Oregon! 01 PIKE MINNOW BOUNTY SEASON OPENS
A grass-roots program that pays sport fishers to help eradicate the invasive pike minnow that consumes millions of young salmon and steelhead on Columbia River each year, significantly undercutting efforts to save this region's native fish population. Annual week-long festival of downwind paddling. Outrigger, SUP, and surfski divisions with main solo event held either Thurs, Fri, or Sat depending on best wind. 18 N'CHI WANAPUM LAYOVER
Tentative date this traditional, hand-carved tribal canoe and its paddlers will layover in Marine Park as they make their way down the Columbia, out to sea, and up the coast for this year's annual gathering in Puyallup. Friends of the Columbia Gorge hosts a celebration of summer featuring live music, a pop-up market with indigenous artists, fabulous food truck fare, games, a 50/50 raffle, bouncy house, and lots of information about the importance of conservation on the river.
