MARINE PARK CAMPGROUND
CAMPGROUND FAQS
General Conduct/Use
Use extreme caution when entering, driving through, and exiting the campground - as well as when backing vehicles up and into your site
Dim lights and keep noise/activity to a minimum when setting up after dark
Walk around, not through other sites to access restrooms, showers, shared water bibs, garbage cans, dumpsters, and other areas of the campground and Marine Park
Confine all vehicles, tents, equipment, supplies, and activities to your own site
Secure all belongings from being damaged or blown away by our notoriously unpredictable Gorge wind
Use propane or butane stoves, grills, and firepits only. Designated charcoal and wood grilling area located on the other side of the playground near the Pavilion
Keep pets on leash or confined at all times while in campground
Supervise children at all times while in the campground to ensure their own safety as well as the right your fellow campers have to enjoy their stay here as your neighbors
Smoke downwind of other campers, and fully extinguish all lit materials prior to disposal
Use public beach located at the east end of Marine Park for all wading, swimming, floating, canoeing, kayaking, and other water sport fun
Crossing railroad tracks to get to/from town is strictly prohibited for reasons of safety. Violators are subject to fine/arrest by railroad officials, immediate forfeiture of camping privileges, and/or physical removal of persons/property from Marine Park.
Campground is subject to federal regulation: use of fireworks, firearms, illicit substances, and other contraband is strictly prohibited. Violators subject to immediate forfeiture of site use privileges, criminal charges, fine, forced physical removal of all persons/property from Marine Park, and/or incarceration.
Main Campground
OVERVIEW
Located in Marine Park on SW Portage Road between the Cascade Locks Historical Museum and Port Office
Open year-round with 12 permanent and 4 seasonal sites suitable for RV, travel trailer, and tent camping
Maximum vehicle height 12'0"
Pad lengths ranges from 32' to 52'
Access to water/power vary from site-to-site, and season-to season
Access to shared restroom, shower, and RV dump station facilities guaranteed from May 1 - Sept 30 only
Advance reservations not required but strongly recommended between Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends
REGISTRATION/PAYMENT
Reservationsmay be made on-line up to 6 months in advance by clicking here
Guests without a reservation may check the availability of, and register/pay on-line for stays of any length until 11pm on the day of their arrival by clicking here
Guests without a reservation who wish to register/pay in cash on arrival are limited to a stay of one night only, and only in sites posted as available at the entrance kiosk where they will also find detailed instructions for registering & paying this way
CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT
Check-in: 2pm (notify host in person, or via text/voice @ 509-637-6911)
Guests arriving before 2pm will be asked to temporarily relocate to allow for completion of site and grounds housekeeping/maintenance
Late check-in requires no notice, is not subject to any fee, and will not result in forfeiture/resale of site
Check-out: 11am (no notice required)
Late check-out with advance host notice/permission only
VEHICLES & PARKING
Guests may park any vehicle (motor home, travel trailer, utility trailer, boat trailer, truck, van, and/or automobile) at their site provided they are clean, in operable condition, fit on the gravel pad provided, and do not extend into either the roadway or any other site
Limited overnight visitor and extra vehicle parking available in the campground for an additional charge of $15/vehicle - see camp host for details
Hourly visitor/extra vehicle parking available 7am-10pm at various locations throughout Marine Park at an additional charge of $2/hour or $10/day
Hiker/Cyclist/CGRA
OVERVIEW
Located in Marine Park on SW Portage Road west of the main campground between the Port Office and boat launch access road
Open June 15-Sept 15 to qualified hikers, cyclists, and CGRA event participants only
Festival-style tent sites on a large lawn with limited on-site parking, immediate access to portapotties/potable water, and free use of restroom and shower facilities in the main campground
Maximum vehicle height 12'0"
REQUIRES PHYSICAL CHECK-IN WITH HOST IN MAIN CAMPGROUND FOR RECEIPT OF TAG THAT MUST BE PROMINENTLY DISPLAYED ON TENT AT ALL TIME WHILE USING THIS AREA
REGISTRATION/PAYMENT (HIKERS & CYCLISTS)
June 1 - September 30 only

VEHICLES & PARKING
Limited on-site parking available at no charge for PCT Trail Angels and CGRA guests (use designated spaces only)
No motor home or travel/tent/boat trailer parking allowed in this area
Vehicles parked in this area may not be used for cooking, sleeping, or other basic camping activities
Parking for CGRA boats/boat trailers located on the lawn across from the marina at the east end of Marine Park - contact CGRA event staff for details & permits
Additional off-site parking for PCT Trail Angels and CGRA users available at no charge elsewhere in Marine Park - see campground host for details
Off-site parking for hiker/cyclist/CGRA visitors available elsewhere in Marine Park at rate of $2/hour or $10/day - see campground host for details
HIKER BOXES
Intended for use by/distribution to PCT hikers only
Availability of, location, contents, and access to boxes subject to change
When available, location of boxes and hours of access will be posted on the kiosk at the entrance to the main campground
Keep box contents organized when examining, contributing, removing, and/or replacing items
Contributions of perishable items should be marked with either an expiration or donation date
Contributions of non-perishable items should be clean, complete, and in good working order. Dispose of old boots, worn clothing, broken equipment, dated print materials, and used/expired/expiring medical products in the trash receptacles provided.

Your primary campground host, Lauryl Nagode, can be found at site 1B across from the entrance kiosk, and is generally available on site to answer guest questions as well as assist with site selection, registration, and payment M-F at the following times:
