A summary of our major components
UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS FORCES
United States Marine Corps is a Marine-Air-Ground-Task-Force (MAGTF) made up of multiple components such as MEFs, MEBs, MEUs and what falls under those.
1st Marine Division (1MD) is a combat-ready force made up of our Pacific MILSIM forces. Falling under the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force, 1MD is our leading Infantry component. 1MD is made up of the following:
1st Marine Regiment (MILSIM)
5th Marine Regiment (MILSIM)
1st Reconnaissance Battalion (FORECON, MILSIM)
Headquarters Battalion (H&S)
Military Police is the United States Marine Corps law enforcement agency. We are a division sized force led by Provost Marshal, MajGen. Sealman225225. We are made up of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Law Enforcement Battalions. Our job is to secure every aspect of all of the Marine Corps home territories such as Recruit Depot, San Diego. Each Battalion is assigned different jobs and locations to patrol. Special Reactions Team is our elite high risk response team used in tough situations including Mass Murderers or Raiders.
Training and Education Command (TECOM) is the parent command to many services and schools such as Officer Candidate School or Combat Training Service. TECOM's main job is to employ Marines, recruit Marines, train Marines, and manage all doctrine and the educational status. Training & Education Command oversees all types of training and education from combat training to bootcamps and graduations.
Marine Special Operations Command (MARSOC) is the Marine Corps contribution to the U.S. Combatant Command, Special Operations Command (SOCOM). Marine Special Operations Command is a Division-Command sized unit made up of the Marine Raider Regiment (MRR), Support Group (MRSG), and Commandos (MRC). MARSOC's job is to ensure an elite task force is always ready to be deployed for executive missions that involve high risk stakes. MARSOC has both a MILSIM and a TPS scrimming component.
Office of the Inspector General (OIGMC) is the IGMC's Office of Staff. Their job is to manage and make administrative actions and inspect personnel apart of different sectors/units.
Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) is a law enforcement agency of the Department of the Navy. They're job in the United States Marine Corps is to enforce discipline via misconduct reports and investigate said misconduct reports and determine punishments and verdicts.
