Preparing for Action: Our WAM-V gears up for an exciting challenge at RobotX 2024!

Our club has proudly participated in prestigious autonomous and electric propulsion competitions like RobotX, RoboBoat, and the PEP Challenges. These events inspire us to push the boundaries of marine technology and innovation, showcasing our team's dedication and engineering expertise.

RobotX is an international competition where teams design and build autonomous boats to complete challenging tasks.

The Virtual RobotX (VRX) Competition is an international event where teams design and program autonomous boats to complete complex tasks in a simulated maritime environment.

RoboBoat competitions, hosted by RoboNation, challenge teams to design and operate autonomous boats. These events test navigation, obstacle and avoidance.

The Promoting Electric Propulsion (PEP) supports electric systems for small boats, focusing on reducing emissions, improving efficiency, and promoting sustainability.

Countdown to the 2024 Maritime RobotX Challenge

RobotX 2024 will take place from November 3-9, 2024, at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Florida. The competition is open to high school, college, and industry teams. Participants are required to use an Autonomous Maritime System based on a WAM-V platform, and an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle
