About Me

About Me

My name is Marina Beshay and I am currently a sophomore at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). I study Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics. I chose to major in Computer Science because I wanted a career where I could be creative and innovative while seeing my ideas being implemented into a visual product. In the beginning, I was not all that aware of this field and had previously started out with the pre-medical route. I decided upon Computer Science because I saw the growing innovation and opportunities that this field offers. I believe with my analytical and problem-solving skills, I will be able to thrive in a software development team and be able to implement all the project ideas. With my professional experience and utilizing academic skills from class projects, I believe I will highly succeed in a career in software development upon graduation.
