Attention to details, record keeping and logs, and strong work ethic were required for this position.
Jiffy Lube, Las Vegas, NV — Lube Tech- I worked as a lube tech while I was in automotive school during the pandemic, and it was a great foundation for my future automotive work. Duties included multi-point inspections, underhood inspections including belt and fluid levels, battery testing and replacement, as well as communicating findings to other team members.
Nellis Cab Co, Las Vegas, NV — Taxi Driver- For two years I maintained a Nevada driver's license in good standing as well as a Taxi Permit. I transported passengers anywhere in Clark County. Duties included loading luggage over 60lbs as well as operating a taxi meter and keeping a trip sheet log.
