I am an assistant professor in English Sociolinguistics at Université de Lorraine. Previously, I was an adjunct professor ("chargée d'enseignement vacataire") at Université de Lorraine (2018-2024) and a postdoc at Université Paris Cité (Laboratoire de Linguistique Formelle, 2023-2025), first in the ERC Starting Grant SMIC project, and then in my own research project. I completed my PhD in Linguistics at Université de Lorraine; I hold a master's degree in English Studies and a master's degree in Literature.
Academia is my second (or third...) career; I was a a French teacher in Morocco for a few years (at Lycée français Paul Valéry in Meknes and at the American School of Fes); I was a radio producer/writer/host at Luxe Radio in Casablanca (2010-2012); and I worked for more than 10 years as a freelance copywriter, translator, and voice-over artist (2012-2023).
In April-June 2025, I was a Junior Fellow at the University of Cologne (CRC 1252 "Prominence in Language").
I am the managing editor of Programming Historian en français (we are currently looking for reviewers), the editor-in-chief of GLAD!, and the president of GSL (Genre, langage, sexualités).
My research project: EGICS, a 2-year (2024-2026) project funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR).
