I am an artist based in Milan (before from Russia), working between individual practice and collective art projects.
I am interested in how materials, places and people interact through slow processes, attention and making together. I work with materials, slow processes and shared art practices.
My projects combine individual artistic research and participatory workshops with children and adults.
Bead-based sculptural practice
This project started from working with beads as a fragile and repetitive material.
Through slow, manual processes, I build organic forms that grow, transform and adapt to the space around them. The work develops intuitively, without a fixed sketch, allowing the structure to emerge step by step
I am interested in how accumulation, rhythm and transparency can create a sense of lightness and vulnerability, and how these forms interact with light, movement and the surrounding environment.
Some of these works are photographed in natural environments, where the forms partially blend into the surrounding landscape.
This idea of mimetizzazione — of becoming similar, adapting, and integrating into a new context — reflects my interest in how forms, bodies and identities find their place within unfamiliar environments.
Acrylic collage series
This project began as an exploration of painted surfaces and gradually shifted toward fragmentation and reassembly.
I started by working on small canvases, then moved to painting sheets of paper, cutting them into strips and fragments, and observing how new structures emerged through recomposition.
The process is based on repetition and variation: similar elements are rearranged again and again, allowing subtle differences to appear. Rather than aiming for a final image, I focus on the act of assembling and on the relationships that arise between color, rhythm and form.
Through this method, the work becomes a visual investigation of structure, continuity and change.
