2018 - 2020 ANASA [website] Partnership Agreement 2014-2020 grant (GA-03110)
Autonomous robotic system for urban waste recycling. ANASA is a Nationally funded endeavor that regards the development and commercialization of a robotic system for the autonomous separation of recyclable items on conveyor belts. Based on input streams from a multitude of sensory devices, object items are detected, categorized and appropriately pick-n-placed.
2017 - 2019 ENTIMENT [website] EU FET-Open-4-2016-2017 grant (GA: 754423)
Industrial Exploitation & Market Uptake of Temporal Toolbox for Commercial Robots Funded by the very competitive Industrial Exploitation strand of FET, ENTIMENT pursued the commercialization of a modeling toolbox that endows autonomous robots with capacities for long-term interaction and synergies with humans.
Mind and Time: Investigation of the Temporal Traits of Human-Machine, Convergence. The project investigated the long-term symbiosis and interaction of humans with articial agents, focusing on allowing robots to perceive time and spatial constraints, and synchronize their actions and perceptions with those of humans. Highlight: Timestorm has recently been declared a Success Story by EU [[link]. European Commission news.
2014 - 2015 METR “Aristeia II", Ministry of Education, NSRF Mental Training in Articial Agents
METR was a National project that dealt with the modeling and integration of agent-based partial brain models for robotic systems.
