Koliou Research Group

Graduate Student Opportunities

If you are a current or prospective M.S. or Ph.D. student at Texas A&M interested in conducting research in the fields of structural dynamics, earthquake engineering, and multi-hazard performance-based design for system functionality and community resilience, please contact Professor Koliou for more information. We are looking to grow our research group with enthusiastic and highly motivated students.

We also support graduate students who are interested in applying for external research opportunities to conduct research in structural and earthquake engineering, multi-hazard infrastructure assessment and community resilience. Such opportunities are available through different programs including the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship and the National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) Fellowship. Feel free to contact Professor Koliou and fill the prospective candidate form prior to applying in order to discuss any potential topics for your research proposals.

Undergraduate Student Opportunities

If you are an undergraduate student at Texas A&M University and you are interested in opportunities to prepare for future jobs or graduate studies by participating in engineering research projects related to structural engineering, multi-hazard infrastructure assessment and community resilience, we encourage you to contact Professor Koliou and fill the prospective candidate form for more information. There are different ways to conduct research for summer semesters or during the academic year.
