I have been teaching English at the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) Language Centre (LC) since 2012. My job responsibilities involve:

  • teaching English for Specific Purposes (ESP) and English for Specific Academic Purposes (ESAP)

  • curriculum design and development for ESP courses

  • participating in research projects

I have been involved in English Language Teaching (ELT) since 2002. In the past, I worked as:

  • as an English Language Lecturer in Tertiary Education - The CTL Eurocollege & Intercollege

  • as a teacher in Secondary Education, teaching English as a First Language (L1) in IMS Private School

  • a Speaking Assessor for English exams (Chichester College, UK)

  • a teacher of English as a Second Language (L2) in private institutions in Limassol

My BA is on English Language & Literature from the University of Cyprus and my postgraduate qualifications include a Masters Degree in Professional Development in Education from the Open University, UK. I am, currently, a PhD student in the Department of Education (Programme: Language & Education) at the University of Cyprus and my research interests involve the pedagogical use of VR in language courses, multimodality and digital literacy.

When I am not testing VR applications, I enjoy running, as I am a proud Half Marathon runner, as well as travelling around the world.
