The Mauri Ora day was an opportunity for whānau to come together with ākonga to help with activities and or watch their ākonga participate. The morning started with karakia and waiata and then ākonga were sent off into activities of their choice, they got to do 2 activities and it ended at lunchtime. I was in Piki Hub teaching ākonga how to make friendship bracelets. It was a great way to bring everyone together and have some fun as well as learn new things!
