Margarita Pavlova

I am an assistant professor at the Department of Cognitive Science and Psychology at New Bulgarian University where I got my BA in Psychology and MA in Developmental Psychology. I received my Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology (now the Brain, Behavior, and Quantitative Science program) at the University of Kansas under the guidance of Prof. Andrea Follmer Greenhoot. 

Since the summer of 2020, I have been co-organizing (with Matthew Slocombe) the Analogical Minds Seminar Series, an international online seminar on analogy research.

Research interests: analogy and similarity, explanation, memory, conceptual change
