I embrace my Italian heritage by bringing to life the old world style of Peasant Cooking. Most of what I learned came from my grandmother, whose style of cooking was simple but rich in tradition and flavor. I realized early on, by spending time in her kitchen, that Peasant Cooking was delicious fresh and elegant.

After a 35 year career in Marketing, I decided (like a lot of people during COVID) that it was time to embark on a path that was more near and dear to my heart. I feel fulfilled by educating people who wish to learn about Italian Peasant cooking so that they can include these dishes on their dinner table.

I consider myself enriched to have grown more awakened to the art of communicating through food and I accomplish this through social media and my food blog, as well as catering private events, television appearances and cooking classes.
