Welcome! I am the Professor of Quantitative Methods in Economics at the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU) / Brazil.

In my research, I use large administrative datasets and quasi-experimental methods to estimate the causal effects of public policies in Brazil—covering public spending, physician allocation in the public health system, daycare provision, and legal frameworks to reduce crime.

My work also examines spatial externalities from the decentralized provision of public services as health care and how intergovernmental grants shape electoral competition. In related projects, I study municipal boundary changes and their implications for the supply of public goods.
