Marcella Hernandez is a dynamic and driven first-generation BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and/or Person of Color) student, hailing from a vibrant Latinx community. With a passionate commitment to education and empowering others, Marcella has dedicated herself to supporting and guiding fellow students in their pursuit of higher education.
Born into a family that valued hard work and education, Marcella's journey has been shaped by her unique experiences and the challenges she faced as a first-generation student. As an intelligent and ambitious young woman, she has overcome various obstacles, defying stereotypes and breaking barriers along the way.
A dedicated education professional with a passion for sustainability and environmental advocacy, seeking to transition into environmental policy and management. With a strong foundation in research, communication, and leadership, I aim to contribute to the development of policies that promote sustainable agriculture. Long-term goals include becoming a policy advocate, urban planner, and an environmental policy researcher, where I can inspire and educate the next generation of leaders in environmental stewardship. Committed to driving impactful change at the intersection of education, policy, and environmental sustainability.
