I’m Mohammad Abidur Rahman, a passionate Electrical & Computer Engineering professional, currently pursuing my PhD at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. With an excellent GPA and over four years of industry experience, I specialize in power electronics, renewable energy systems, and electric vehicle (EV) technologies.
Throughout my academic and professional journey, I’ve focused on creating innovative solutions that merge power electronics with renewable energy to address real-world challenges. I’ve worked on advanced research projects such as PV-powered EV charging stations and bidirectional power converters, which aim to optimize energy efficiency for electric vehicles. My work has earned me several accolades, including the Arkansas Research Alliance Award and the DCSTEM Leadership Council Award.
Previously, as an Electrical & Automation Engineer at Abul Khair Steel Melting Limited, I led automation and electrical system projects, working with global teams to integrate efficient energy solutions. My expertise extends across various platforms, including MATLAB Simulink, HIL, AutoCAD, PLC systems, and Siemens motor drives.
I am committed to pushing the boundaries of electric mobility and power systems, leveraging my experience and research to make a lasting impact on the future of energy.
