Traditions and  Religions

The Marabinos are quite regionalists which makes them usually support their region quite a bit. An example of this is how Maracaiberos fervently support their state baseball teams, an example is Aguilas del Zulia.

The culture of Maracaibo has great indigenous influence such as the Gaita, desserts, style, and other customs. The Gaita is a style of Venezuelan folk music from Maracaibo. The religion of Maracaibo is mostly Roman Catholic, followed by Evangelical, and among other minorities.
