The Maracaibera culture or Marabina(o) culture, culture of the inhabitants of Maracaibo and its surroundings. It is a well-known culture in Venezuela for its customs and national historical facts. Maracaibo is the second largest city in Venezuela and has a very "great economic" and cultural influence in its country, with a semi-arid to warm climate in addition to having a single body of water, which is Lake Maracaibo.
The Marabino is a person who has many ways of expressing himself in the local language (Venezuela Spanish), they has a great variety of expressions (Zulia Spanish). Due to the economic recession and sanctions in Venezuela, Maracaibo is currently not a highly recommended place to visit, its era of tourism and foreign people passed more than 40 years ago. Maracaibo, in addition to increasing depopulation, crime, hunger, lack of common services, sanitation, accidents, etc., is currently not a recommended place to visit. I personally view some facts towards my region with positivity, but I would not live there again for a long or short period of time.
