Switchable Fluorophores Data Bank (SFDB)

The SwitFluor Data Bank includes and tracks the development of new switchable fluorescent dyes and proteins, referred to as the dyes that switch between multiple states (e.g., fluorescence spectra, intensities) upon external stimuli such as light, force and polarity, for single-molecule imaging and super-resolution microscopy.

Most of the dyes in the SwitFluors Data Bank are available for test upon request for free. Please contact yang.zhang@ncsu.edu for obtaining the samples!
