The SwitFluor Data Bank includes and tracks the development of new switchable fluorescent dyes and proteins, referred to as the dyes that switch between multiple states (e.g., fluorescence spectra, intensities) upon external stimuli such as light, force and polarity, for single-molecule imaging and super-resolution microscopy. The development and maintenance of this Data Bank is supported by the National Institute of General Medical Sciences Project R35GM155241.
Most of the dyes in the SwitFluors Data Bank are available for testing upon request for free. Please contact yang.zhang@ncsu.edu to obtain free samples!
We also have a GitHub page to report all software/code development related to processing the images using these dyes: https://github.com/switfluors
